Maria Santilli has played Division 1 college tennis for the University of Cincinnati. She is a two-time WPIAL singles and state champion in 2016. Rodney Stewart Has recently served as Director of racquet sports at both private and commercial clubs in Philadelphia and Pittsburgh over the past 18 years. Certified as a P1 Professional by the PTR. Extensive experience with team practices, live ball clinics, junior and adult lessons, cardio tennis and instructional clinics for all ages and levels. Georgie Lancaster is a 2025 graduate of the Slippery Rock University Women’s Tennis team which was ranked 49th in the nation in May 2025. She participated in the PSAC conference finals 4 years in a row, and captained her team to the Sweet 16 Division II National Championship (May 2025). In her career, she’s coached diverse players of all ages and abilities at Piping Rock Club (Long Island, NY), and the Rafa Nadal Academy.
Brandon Gordon has been playing tennis for over 20 years. He competed on the Pelham High School varsity team in Alabama, where his team placed 3rd in the 6A state championships his senior year (May 2006). The following year, he began teaching tennis at Mountain Brook Country Club while attending college. He has recently returned to both teaching and competing and is now coaching with Allegheny County at Boyce Park. Brandon is currently pursuing a graduate degree in psychology, which he integrates into his lessons to help students meet challenges head-on and achieve success. His coaching style is encouraging, supportive, and fun!
Dave Hasley is a former Director of Tennis at Edgewood Tennis and Fitness Club for 20 years. Our junior program was home to many highly ranked Middle States and nationally ranked players, many of whom went on to Division I and II scholarships. Directed Summer Tennis Camps for Adidas for 10 years at Shadyside Academy. Currently, the Head Coach for varsity boys and girls, and middle school boys and girls at Shadyside Academy. David became a USPTR Professional in 1996 and has over 25 years of experience as an instructor, high school coach, and secondary school teacher. In 1994, I began coaching and substitute teaching at Shady Side Academy. As an assistant coach at Shady Side Academy, David also continued to develop as a player participating in local and regional tournaments and leagues. Over a span of more than 20 years, David won several local doubles tournaments, including Penn Hills in 1993, Mckeesport in 1998, NAACP in 2005, and Highland Park in 2011. Utilyzing the Standard Teaching Method, emphasizing progressions, David also studied the modern tennis game, adding rotational elements to his own game, while teaching intermediate and advanced players. In the 2010's, David led the Keystones Oakes girls and boys team to playoff competition, served as a district wide substitute teacher, and joined the WPIAL tennis committee in 2015, For several years, David assisted with the management of playoff competition while sharing new ideas benefitting doubles competiion.
